Lawmakers are quickly approaching the crossover point for this legislative session, and Governor Peter Shumlin is not backing down from his spending and revenue proposals. This week, Shumlin has been meeting with Senate and House leaders behind closed doors. Green Mountain Power provided a first glimpse inside their new $2.5 million energy innovation center in downtown Rutland. Vermont State Police say five elementary schools students have been injured in a school bus crash in Tunbridge. Governor Peter Shumlin plans to expand a pilot program to get state employees involved in community supported agriculture.
