Governor Peter Shumlin and Attorney General Bill Sorrell appear to be at odds over the governor’s proposal to grant more public access to police records. The board that oversees health care in Vermont is looking at the health issues affecting the state’s undocumented farm workers. The hospital that serves the area where police conducted one of the largest drug sweeps in state history is seeing more patients seeking treatment for drug withdrawal symptoms. Governor Peter Shumlin has named Eldred French to replace outgoing Rutland County Senator William Carris.
