The Vermont House continues debating today the major health care initiative of the session. A top Shumlin administration official says about 80 former employees of the now-closed Vermont State Hospital are being laid off. The Vermont Democratic Party says a group that has gone after Gov. Peter Shumlin in radio ads has violated state campaign finance laws.
