Need for heating assistance may rise this winter

Energy experts and human services providers say it could be a tough winter for Vermonters who struggle to pay their heating bills. Home heating oil prices jumped 11% last month. Meanwhile, continued tough economic times are expected to cause an increase in demand for heating assistance.
