Tim and Diane Mueller, who operate ski resorts in Vermont and New Hampshire, say they have agreed on a contract to buy a struggling resort in Colorado. The Muellers say they expect to close the sale on Crested Butte Resort by early February. Terms of the sale haven’t been disclosed.
The Muellers own Okemo Mountain Resort in Vermont and operate Mount Sunapee Resort in New Hampshire. Crested Butte had about 342,000 skier visits last season and has been on the market for months.
