A new exhibition at the Vermont Center for Photography in Brattleboro is a two-person program highlighting work by mother and daughter, Kirsten Hoving and Emma Powell

Hoving’s photos are symbolic representations of constellations. Her technique involves freezing various objects in ice, then photographing the ice discs.

VPR’s Neal Charnoff met up with Kirsten Hoving at the exhibit to talk about her work.

"Daydreamers and Night Wanderers" opens Friday evening, February 1, at the Vermont Center for Photography in Brattleboro. Kirsten Hoving and Emma Powell will speak at the opening reception at 5:00 p.m.
