More than 20,000 people have registered to vote in Vermont this year. And many of these new voters are expected to participate in the state’s early voting system;  Senator Patrick Leahy is taking a Vermonter’s side in her case before the U.S. Supreme Court. Leahy filed arguments on behalf of Diana Levine of Marshfield; Upset about recent changes to their cable TV lineup, about 100 people turned out last night in Rutland for a hearing hosted by Senator Bernie Sanders;  In Bennington, they’re gearing up for their annual celebration of a famous Revolutionary War battle.
