Montpelier educator Peter Evans is Vermont’s Principal of the Year.
The Montpelier High School principal will be honored this fall at a ceremony in Washington along with principals from the 49 other states.
Montpelier Superintendent Steve Metcalf says Evans has a unique ability to lead and draw leadership out of others.
Evans has worked in education for more than 30 years, and he calls his award a celebration for Montpelier, not just for him.
