The cost of cleaning up mold in the Milton elementary school is going to be at least $2 million.
The school is eligible for state assistance to help pay for the cleanup.
But it’s been paying overtime for its own maintenance staff to do some of the work.
The school district has taken out a $950,000 short-term loan to help manage its cash flow while it tries to repair and clean the school.
