Last winter’s mild weather took a toll on New England ski resorts.

American Skiing has reported that skier visits were down 19% at its Killington resort and 18% at Mount Snow in Vermont.

In other states skier visits fell nearly 12% at Attitash in New Hampshire and 15% at Sugarloaf USA in Maine.

Those numbers came from American Skiing’s quarterly earnings report.

Total skier visits to the company’s ski resorts in New England, Colorado and Utah were down a total of about seven percent.
