Mike Donoghue has been covering stories for the Burlington Free Press for nearly 4 decades. He started out writing about sports, and recently returned to sports writing.
In between, Donoghue has covered just about every beat imaginable and delved into some of the most memorable and sensational stories affecting Vermonters in the past 37 years.
Now he’s being honored for that work with the prestigious Yankee Quill Award, one of the top prizes in journalism.
