Middlebury is remembering and honoring longtime Addison County Sheriff Jim Coons who died last week.
Middlebury’s Select Board has endorsed a resolution conveying its condolences to the Coons’ family and celebrating his life and his contributions to the community.
Coons, who served as sheriff for more than three decades, died at his Middlebury home following a fight with cancer. He was 59.
A memorial service will be held for Sheriff Coons on Monday, April 30th.
