Town Meeting Day. Top stories developing across the region at the noon hour:

The addition of a presidential primary vote on top of local ballot articles is a complicating factor for the clerks and boards of Civil Authority who run today’s balloting; among the contentious ballot items are the vote on forming a multi-town technical high school district in northwestern Vermont, and the secession effort in Killington; the Addison County town of Salisbury went through its Town Meeting agenda Monday night; last week was the longest streak of sunny weather in Vermont in more than forty years; on the presidential campaign trail, votes will be cast in nine other states in the Super Tuesday primaries.
