The Lieutenant Governor talks about his hushed-up military mission to Iraq; a prediction that lots of out-of state tourists will come to Vermont for this year’s foliage season; two lawmakers from Vermont are part of a delegation of New England officials who’ll head to Taiwan this week for an eight-day educational visit and fact-finding tour. Democratic candidate for Governor Scudder Parker said this morning that Governor Jim Douglas is wrong to oppose Federal wilderness proposals, and this afternoon Parker will come out with his own property tax plan.
