Eight Iraq War protesters were arrested last night when they refused to leave Senator Bernie Sander’s Burlington office at closing time; library officials lobby the state for increased funding to help libraries around the state; Vermont teens will get a chance to voice their opinions on cigarettes in a new effort to combat scenes of smoking in Hollywood films; two new bills in the Legislature are calling for the state to buy eggs produced by cage-free hens.
