In Washington the tussles between Congress and the White House continue, with Vermonters in the thick of it; an eyesore in the winning Springfield, the one in Vermont, is going to get a new coat of paint, thanks to “The Simpsons.” Elsewhere a documentary film on the internationally famous sculptor Augustus Saint-Gaudens, who once worked in Cornish New Hampshire, will premier this evening at Dartmouth College.
