Sen. John McCain is returning to New Hampshire to campaign for fellow Republican Kelly Ayotte.
Ayotte is a former state attorney general, and is running for the Senate seat being vacated by Sen. Judd Gregg.
McCain will attend an invitation-only fundraiser for Ayotte on March 12, and a public town-hall-style meeting with her the next day in Nashua.
McCain won New Hampshire’s GOP presidential primaries in 2000 and 2008.
