Governor Jim Douglas takes questions about the Circumferential Highway in Chittenden County, and the millions of dollars budgeted for it; the long-closed Green Mountain Park horse and dog track is for sale on eBay; a private non-profit, Vermont Protection and Advocacy, holds a news conference at the Vermont State Hospital in Waterbury; a cap placed on a Rockingham landfill that was part of the Environmental Protection Agency’s Superfund program is working; Vermont’s only natural gas utility is planning to offer service to 1,500 more homes and businesses by the start of the next heating season.
