New Jersey authorities are holding a Vermont man who owns a drug store in Paterson and a pharmaceutical company salesman on illegal prescription drug distribution charges.

Authorities say Wyeth Pharmaceuticals sales representative Luther Manning stole samples and sold them to pharmacies at discount prices.

Sussman Drugs owner William Stracher of Peru, Vermont, is accused of selling the samples.

Authorities are trying to track the origin of the stolen medications and expect more arrests.
