A Burlington man has been charged with reckless endangerment for firing a gun in a parking lot across the street from an elementary school.

Twenty-one-year-old Antwaun Twitty allegedly fired the weapon into the asphalt and then threatened a female relative during a domestic dispute. No one was hurt.

The shooting occurred about 1:35 Tuesday afternoon, across the street from H.O Wheeler, a school for children in grades K through 5.

The Burlington Free Press says Twitty is charged with domestic assault and reckless endangerment.
