Man Blames Canadian Mob For House Shooting

Vermont State Police say a man whose home was peppered with shotgun rounds at first blamed it on the Canadian Mafia before admitting he was the shooter.

Twenty-four-year-old Daniel Corliss is charged with making a false report to law enforcement and reckless endangerment over the January 25th incident at his Alburgh home.

Corliss, who called 911 to report the gunfire, later acknowledged that he’d lied about being shot at by the Canadian mafia, and that he was the one who shot at the house, hitting it four times. He said he also shot into the snow once.

He was cited into court on Feb. 17.
