Firefighters are battling a five-alarm fire in a commercial building in downtown Littleton, New Hampshire.
The fire started in a warehouse on Saranac Street, about a block from Main Street. Witnesses who have stopped in at a nearby Dunkin Donuts say it looks like the fire has spread to several homes. Workers at the restaurant say they began seeing embers falling in their parking lot about 5:30 a.m.
Firefighters from Littleton and many surrounding communities are on the scene, fighting the flames and hosing down nearby buildings to try to prevent the flames from spreading.
