Governor John Lynch easily defeated retired school teacher Katy Forry on Tuesday, setting up a November contest with state Senator Joe Kenney and Libertarian Susan Newell.

In other New Hampshire primary results, Senator John Sununu and former Democratic Governor Jeanne Shaheen are headed for a rematch of their 2002 senate race after the Republican incumbent and Democratic challenger defeated their primary opponents yesterday.

In New Hampshire’s First Congressional District another rematch is set as Republican Jeb Bradley will face Democrat Carol Shea Porter, who defeated Bradley in 2006. Bradley fought off a tough primary challenge from John Stephen for the right to face Shea Porter in November.

In the Second District, Jennifer Horn defeated four other Republicans and will challenge Democratic Congressman Paul Hodes in the general election.
