GE Healthcare in South Burlington is laying off some workers.
The company said Friday the number is fewer than 50. The company said layoffs are the result of "challenging business environments."
The offices are a division of the global corporation that specializes in information technology for the health care industry.
The company says the cuts leave just over 500 employees, down from nearly 800 in 2009.
