Lawsuit over Steamboat Springs ski area

(Denver) Control of the Steamboat Springs ski area in Colorado has been thrown into uncertainty by a court ruling.

The Colorado Court of Appeals yesterday revived a lawsuit by Triple Peaks of Ludlow alleging that the American Skiing Company improperly backed out of a deal to sell the resort.

Triple Peaks is also in the process of buying Crested Butte ski area.
