From India Pale Ales, to heavy stouts, to new organic brews, there’s a nearly endless choice of locally made beers in Vermont. The state is home to more craft breweries per capita than anywhere else in the nation. And this is the week to celebrate them!
Before Vermont lawmakers adjourned for the year, they recognized craft brewers in the state with a Concurrent House Resolution to take part in American Craft Beer Week…which is this week!
Kurt Staudter is the Executive Director of the Vermont Brewers Association. He spoke with VPR’s Jane Lindholm about Craft Beer Week and the various breweries in the state that are making some cutting-edge beers.
