(Host) A Burlington City Councilor has announced he is seeking the Democratic nomination for mayor of Burlington.
Bram Kranichfeld was the first Democrat elected to his City Council seat in over 20 years.
In a statement, he says he wants to renew Burlington’s focus on safe neighborhoods, strong schools, and a vibrant downtown.
Kranichfeld is the third democrat to join the race.
Burlington mayor Bob Kiss has not said whether he will run for re-election.
