A federal court jury in Vermont has convicted an oxycontin dealer with a history of drug convictions.

Edward "Big Ed" Campbell absconded after his 2009 arrest for selling the drug . He was caught after being featured on "America’s Most Wanted," and he was convicted of oxycontin distribution Monday in U.S. District Court in Brattleboro.

In his trial, prosecutors introduced evidence that Campbell had attempted on the eve of his trial to tamper with witnesses by calling them and having friends call them.

Campbell has served prison terms previously for dealing crack cocaine and cocaine. He’ll be sentenced in June.
