Two Vermont Army National Guardsmen are being treated for injuries they suffered in Iraq when their convoy that was hit by a roadside bomb just outside Baghdad; state transportation officials say repaving of Interstate 89 will begin in earnest next week or possibly earlier; Vermont lawmakers are asking the Nuclear Regulatory Commission to conduct a special inspection into the cause of a transformer fire that broke out Friday at the Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power plant; the annual International Fishing Derby is underway on Lake Champlain.
