In Burlington tonight, Journalist Marjorie Ryerson will tell stories of people who were able to be with their loved ones at the time of their deaths.
The Randolph author knows how difficult that can be, because she went through it herself when her father passed away.
But as she tells VPR’s Mitch Wertlieb, it was an experience she’s grateful for, and one that eventually led her to write the book that also tells these stories: "Companions for the Passage".
