Republican presidential candidate John McCain will make a Valentine’s Day campaign stop in Vermont tomorrow.

The Arizona senator will attend a rally at Atlantic Aviation, at the Burlington International Airport in South Burlington.

Campaign spokesman Jim Barnett says McCain’s dedicated to reaching out to every voter in every primary state, and he says Vermont is going to make an important contribution to McCain’s delegate count.

Vermont’s presidential primary is March 4, the same day as those in Ohio, Texas and Rhode Island. Vermont only has 17 Republican delegates

State Democratic Chairman Ian Carleton says he’s not sure whether either of the remaining Democratic candidates, Senator Barack Obama and Senator Hillary Clinton, will visit Vermont by primary day.
