(Host) Under the provisions of a bill given preliminary approval by the Vermont House Tuesday, a student could move to any school in Vermont and his or her state education money would transfer as well.

Officials at smaller schools have said that could hurt their districts severely. Tom Debevoise is a member of the school board for supervisory union in Woodstock.

(Delaney) “Mr. Debevoise, what would be the effect of a law that allows the unlimited transfer of students, and the money that supports their education?”
