Interview: Tim Bombardier, ‘Operation Granite Street’

It was called “Operation Granite Streets” – an investigation in Barre City lasting more than two months that just a couple of days ago resulted in more than 25 drug-related arrests.

Members of the Vermont Drug Task Force, State police, and officials from local agencies helped identify and arrest suspects who allegedly used the streets of Barre City as a storefront for hard drugs including heroin, crack, and powdered cocaine.

Tim Bombadier is the Barre City Police Chief. He spoke with Mitch Wertlieb and said the drug dealing had an affect that goes beyond the people involved directly in the transactions:
