Interview: Ski Helmet use studied

The day after Thanksgiving is when the ski and snowboard season really gets moving, and this year a new study is shedding light on the use of helmets by skiers and snowboarders. The first of a three year study conducted by the Snow Sports Research Team at Fletcher Allen HealthCare and the University of Vermont’s College of Medicine shows that helmet use is fairly common for kids under the age of 18, but the numbers drop sharply for young people over 18, and adults.
