As Americans gear up to commemorate their independe nce on July 4th, Canadians are already celebrating their heritage. July 1st is Canada Day, an international celebration formerly knows as "Dominion Day". Today marks the 141st anniversary of the founding of Quebec City. To find out how Canadians mark this holiday, Neal Charnoff talked with VPR’s Shelly Pomerance, who lives in Montreal.
