Don’t be surprised if the United States finds itself at war not only with Iraq, but with its neighbor Iran within the next two years. That’s the word from former Chief United Nations Weapons Inspector Scott Ritter. He’s the author of the book, “Target Iran: The Truth About the White House’s Plans for Regime Change.”

Ritter was a military intelligence officer during the Reagan administration, and headed the search for illegal weapons in Iraq from 1991 to 1998. He’ll discuss his concerns about US policy in Iran during a talk in Burlington tomorrow night. Ritter believes the Bush administration not only has Iran in its crosshairs .

Note: Scott Ritter will also discuss his book Saturday night at 7 o’clock in Waitsfield at the Big Picture Theater, in a free appearance sponsored by the Green Mountain Global Forum.
