Interview: Robert Rachlin, ‘Islamo-Fascism’

President Bush has compared Osama Bin Laden to Nazi leader Adolph Hitler, and has introduced the word Islamo-fascism into the ever-shifting political vocabulary that strives to define the war on terror.

Robert Rachlin is an attorney who spoke about the new war terminology recently at the Vermont Law School in South Royalton. Rachlin is senior director of Downs Rachlin Martin, which is a VPR underwriter.

He’s also represented two detainees being held at Guantanamo Bay in Cuba. Mitch Wertlieb recently spoke with him and asked whether the comparisons to fascism and radical Islam, are in his view, valid.
