(Mitch Wertlieb) Biographer and visiting professor of humanities at Champlain College Willard Sterne Randall has received a lot of good news lately, and hopes to get some more next year when his latest work, “Alexander Hamilton: A Life” is considered for a Pulitzer Prize. News of the nomination comes on the heels of an Emmy award for “Benjamin Franklin,” a documentary that was partially based on Randall’s biography of the famed American statesman and inventor.

Willard Sterne Randall joins me now on the line. Thanks for speaking with us, and congratulations on your sixth Pulitzer nomination.
