Interview: Patrick Parenteau, winner – National Conservation Achievement Award

The National Wildlife Federation is saying “thank you” to a Vermont lawyer for his conservation efforts.

Patrick Parenteau is the Vermont Law School’s Director of the Environmental and Natural Resources Law Clinic, and is the winner of this year’s National Conservation Achievement Award.

But Parenteau is interested in environmental issues beyond conservation. He’s concerned about the future of energy consumption and production in Vermont. He spoke with Mitch Wertlieb and said if anything positive is going to happen, it’s going to take much better political cooperation on both sides of the aisle:
