Members of the New England Coalition already had plenty to discuss when they gathered for their 33rd annual meeting in Brattleboro this weekend. The nuclear watchdog group has been the leading critic of a plan by the Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power plant to boost its power output by 20 percent – and that was before officials at the Vernon reactor reported that two radioactive segments of a spent fuel rod were missing. Mitch Wertlieb talks with Peter Alexander about the New England Coalition’s annual meeting.
