Interview: Neal Conan on “First Person-Stories From The Edge Of The World”

An unusual multi-media presentation comes to Burlington this weekend. The show is called "First Person-Stories From The Edge Of The World". It features historical photos from the National Geographic Image Collection.

The images are accompanied by selected readings by NPR’s Neal Conan, and music from the Celtic and Early Music group Ensemble Galilee.

The readings by Neal Conan include George Mallory’s letter home before summiting Mt. Everest, as well as writings from Charles Darwing and Jacques Cousteau.

Neal Conan spoke with VOR’s Neal Charnoff about the program.
