Interview: Medical marijuana debate

A bill that would legalize the use of medical marijuana has drawn passionate testimony on both sides of the issue from Vermont residents, health and law enforcement officials. The legislation is currently before the House Health and Welfare Committee, and its fate is hard to predict. Hilton Wick is an attorney from Burlington, and a former president of Chittenden Bank. His wife Barbara died of cancer three years ago. Wick talks with VPR’s Mitch Wertlieb about why he testified in favor of the Medical Marijuana bill.
