In a perfect economic world, social and environmentally responsible business practices would yield superior financial rewards for the companies that follow them…a win-win carrot and stick approach to business that would flourish in the 21st century. That utopian corporate realm may be closer at hand than you think. That, at least, is the message Marjorie Kelly is trying to convey, and she’ll get the chance to do so beginning next week as the keynote speaker at the annual Vermont Businesses for Social Responsibility and Vermont Employee Ownership Center conferences.

She recently spoke with Mitch Wertlieb about social and environmentally practices for business.
