(Mitch Wertlieb) The days after Christmas and leading up to New Years are some of the busiest at the numerous ski mountains around Vermont. If you’re stuck on a long line waiting to get back up a chair lift, you may be wishing those people in front of you were on a different mountain entirely. Well, meteorologist and ski enthusiast Jeremy Davis can’t give you directions to a secret slope of your own, but he can tell you about many of the lost ski areas throughout New England – once bustling ski mountain destinations now untouched by ski or snowboard. Davis is the founder of New England Lost Ski Area Project, and he joins me now on the line.
