(Neal Charnoff) Historian Matthew Wilson was a member of the British Army living in Pakistan in the late 1960’s. Over the next 30 years, he and his family made a number of return trips to Central Asia, notably Afghanistan, Pakistan and India.
Wilson wrote extensive notes, kept journals and took photographs of his travels. He has recounted his adventures in a new book, “The Land of the War Elephants.” Matthew Wilson is now a part-time resident of Barnard, Vermont, and joins us from our Norwich studios.
