A winner of too many journalistic awards to mention, Helen Thomas is probably best known as “The Dean of the White House Press Corps” The woman who’s asked questions of every president since the Kennedy administration.
That distinction earned her the honor over the years of asking the first question at presidential press conferences from her seat in the front row. That is, until this year when Helen Thomas was relegated to the back of the room by Bush administration officials apparently unhappy with her line of questioning.
