Welcome to the digital world. That’s the message your TV is sending you today if you live in Vermont.
The switch from analog to digital went ahead yesterday even though Vermont, like every other state, had the option of waiting until June to switch from analog to digital signals.
So, how did it go? We put the question to Jim Condon, executive director of the Vermont Association of Broadcasters. He says, so far, so good…although there will be hiccups for some Vermonters.
Overall, though, Condon says Vermont broadcasters felt there was no good reason to delay the switchover.
