Can expressions of religious faith co-exist with secular societies and governments in a post-9/11 world?

That question will be explored in depth at the Vermont Law School this afternoon by Henry Steiner. Steiner is the founder and director of Harvard Law School’s Human Rights program.

He spoke with VPR’s Mitch Wertlieb about this afternoon’s program. Steiner says governments, especially in western European nations, seem unconcerned about the rights of people when it comes to freedom of religion.
