It’s not exactly accurate to call Fred Singer a climate change skeptic.

Singer is a professor emeritus of environmental sciences at the University of Virginia. He’s also an atmospheric physicist and founder of the Science and Environmental Policy Project and he says the Earth is warming.

Where Singer differs from many of his colleagues in the scientific Community, and with climate change activists like Al Gore, is that he doesn’t necessarily believe humans are contributing to the problem.

Singer will talk about climate change tonight at the University of Vermont. He says the world’s climate has always been changing, and if he’s skeptical about anything, it’s legislative attempts to reduce the State’s carbon footprint.

So, does Singer believe, as former Senate Environment Chairman James Inhofe does, that global warming is a hoax?
