Relations between the faculty of Vermont’s State Colleges and the system’s Chancellor, Robert Clarke continue to worsen. Earlier this week, Johnson State College professors joined their colleagues at Lyndon State, Castleton and Vermont Technical College in issuing a vote of “no-confidence” in Clarke. The issue is at an impasse, but faculty members say their issues with Clarke and State Colleges Board of Trustees extend far beyond the numbers.
